7. Carefully remove the sealant.

Installation

1. For sealant specification, refer to the specifications section.

2. CAUTION: Make sure that the mating faces are clean and free of foreign material. Apply a bead of sealant, 3 mm diameter, to the area indicated.

3. Torque: 14 Nm

Removal

NOTE: Removal steps in this procedure may contain installation details.

1. WARNING: Make sure to support the vehicle with axle stands. Raise and support the vehicle.

2. Disconnect the battery ground cable.

Take extra care not to damage the wiring harnesses.
