Range Rover Evoque: Winter tyres

In many countries legislation exists that requires the use of winter tyres during specified periods of the year.

M+S tyres have a recognised level of winter performance and need not be replaced.

When changing to winter tyres, they must be fitted to all four wheels.

If the vehicle has TPMS but the winter use wheels and tyres are fitted with standard rubber valves, the TPM system will search for a signal. When it finds no response, TYRE PRESSURE MONITORING SYSTEM UNAVAILABLE will be displayed in the message centre.

When the original wheels are refitted, the vehicle will need to travel a short distance before the TPM system recognises the wheel sensors. At that point, TYRE PRESSURE MONITORING SYSTEM AVAILABLE will be displayed.
