2. Disconnect the battery ground cable.

Make sure that all openings are sealed.

Installation

Extreme cleanliness must be exercised when handling this component.
Make sure that the mating faces are clean and free of foreign material.

Align the torque converter and oil pump drive before installing the torque converter.
