Removal
1. Disconnect the battery ground cable.
Refer to: Specifications (414-01 Battery, Mounting and Cables, Specifications).

Installation
1. Torque: 25 Nm

- M10 47 Nm
- M8 24 Nm
4. CAUTION: Make sure that new components are installed.
NOTE: Do not fully tighten the clamp at this stage.
5. Torque: 10 Nm

7. Refer to: Air Cleaner (303-12, Removal and Installation).
8. Reconnect the battery ground cable.
Refer to: Specifications (414-01 Battery, Mounting and Cables, Specifications).

- Using the diagnostic tool, calibrate the transmission control module (TCM).
- Using the diagnostic tool, re-calibrate the gear shift module (GSM).

The A- Pillar reinforcement is manufactured from DP600, it is serviced
with its upper and lower door hinge mounting
brackets.
The A-Pillar reinforcement is unpicked from the side panel reinforcement
'ring-frame', it is not serviced separately.
