NOTE: Removal steps in this procedure may contain installation details.
1. Disconnect the battery ground cable.
Refer to: Specifications (414-01 Battery, Mounting and Cables,
Specifications).

NOTE: The rear bumper mounting is manufactured from mild steel.
1. In this procedure, to make sure the vehicle is correctly
aligned, it must be placed on an approved alignment
jig.
2. The rear bumper mounting is replaced in conjunction with:

Moving the nearside headlamp unit to access
bulbs;
1. Remove the two plastic fixings.
2. Pull the tube up to release from the air box.
This will allow more room for
manoeuvrability.
3. Remove the four grille fixings.
4. Remove the two retaining bolts.
